We are looking for
- Successfully completed a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Knowledge in modern programming languages for backend and frontend development, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Kotlin, or Java.
- Experience in developing with full-stack frameworks like Spring Boot, Node.js, or Micronaut.
- Skills in frontend development with technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with version control systems, especially Git, and code review practices.
- Knowledge of applying agile methods, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Commitment, communication skills, and team orientation.
- It is obligatory to be resident in Germany.
- Fluent English language skills required, with proficiency in German being an advantage.
- Successfully completed a degree in Mathematics with focus on statistics and probability theory.
- Developed and implemented risk and forecasting models tailored to software-driven insurance and finance applications.
- Analyzed large-scale datasets to inform pricing, risk segmentation, and product strategy.
- Supported development of actuarial software components (e.g., pricing engines, risk APIs).
- Ensured compliance with insurance regulatory requirements in model design and documentation.
- Performed scenario analysis and simulations for strategic and financial planning.
- Modeled customer lifetime value (CLV), churn, and embedded insurance profitability.
- Acted as a bridge between actuarial science and software engineering teams.
